This might be a stupid question, but I'd rather ask it than break anything. How do you properly remove this piece shown in the picture? I can get the top of it off but the bottom doesn't budge. Is there a screw holding it down? I was thinking it would be behind the button to open and close the sunroof but didn't want to force or break anything.

I'm trying to remove it because there seems to be a rattle coming from somewhere in that area. When I'm driving and hit about 3800 rpm and above, something begins to rattle, sounds like there's a lose screw or something. I already removed the gauge cluster and didn't see anything loose in there, so I wanted to check this out.

Yes, you have to pop out the switch and there is a screw behind it.
