I have a question about the timing belt. Does age come into play at all. Mine actually has 58K but its a 95 so i was wondering if the belt get pitted or gets old you know? Should i change it now or just wait till 90K?

age can be a factor. Make sure it is not wearing or warping. Belts can wear out with age even if not used that much

When you say adjust the valves, you mean the intake/exhaust valves?

Why would they need adjusting? Do they move over time?

Sorry, I'm a noob when it comes to engine ****.

with the grinding of the gears, you have to be at a complete stop to put it in first and reverse. Most hondas and acuras are nutorios for syncrose? i think thats how it's spelled.

yeah why would you want to be shifting into reverse if the car is already moving?

Well at my work there is a slight slope but then it turns into a hill. I would like to drift down and maintain monentum and just wehn I would get to the hill part I want to drop it into reverse. I really have to way of turning around either.

BTW guys what would be your reccomendations on the next hop up? I already got a aem cai (even before I got the car ). And I have about 600 bucks. Im into looks and speed. Just need to be pointed into the right direction on parts.

p.s--where do you guys do group buys at???

first thing you should do is get a new intake manifold. that is probably one of the best things a gsr owner can do. you'll also notice alot more high end power the motor just wants to keep going.
