I know this is probably a stupid question, but how exactly do you install hood pins?? Are there predrilled holes to put the pins through or what? I'm just curious because I plan on buying one here in the near future. Also does anyone know where I could find a good CF hood for a good price. I was thinking of going with VIS because my cousin just got one for his 240sx and he likes it. I figured since I don't know much about them I would go with one as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

You drill into your hood. Then you find a spot on your subrame that runs across the car, in front of the radiator to drill holes to put in the base piece of the hood pin.

Is it hard to drill through and is there the chance of it getting cracks near those holes while drilling?

put tape around where you are drilling
i just used a regular drill to do it
just take your time and be careful
when you put on the pins also they cover up a lot of the hole you make
