Here is a small video clip (almost 70 megs -- AVI format) that I did of my stock Type R muffler today so that you guys can hear what it sounds like (those that don't already have one):

My car is a '97 RS .. I have a cheap Pacesetter header with stock cat, stock catback, and the Type R axleback. I do have the Type R b-pipe but it is from a JDM ITR so I have to have it modified before I can put it on my car. As you can tell from the video, my exhaust suffers from the "buzzing" that everyone else has mentioned. This is only noticeable from the outside of the car. From the insided it sounds identical to the stock muffler and the AEM intake drowns it out when you hammer on the gas.
Here are a few pics of the muffler on my car as well:

flowmasters are really loud, the mufflers uses baffles and chambers. if u want to quite your exhaust down, why dont u add a resonator? 50 bucks at most and any muffler shop would be able to do it in about 15 min.
