ok guys, i know how to install those huge missile tube shift lights. but in my old gs-r, when i was pushing it, the tach read 8100 when i hit the fuel cut, but the fuel cut is at 8400 in 94-95 gs-r's. so i dont really trust the stock tach, the same way i dont trust the stock speedo above 90.

also, i was looking to get this because i plan to auto X this car, and a regular shift light won't give me any idea when it is safe to downshift to make sure i stay in teh power band, this will give me an idea.

and lastly, i was really just looking at the idea. i dont like the way the box looks, and i was thinking of installing the LED'sin the dash, along my line of site, with a toggle switch to turn them off at night.

It still runs off the same signal as the tach so you don't necessarily gain any accuracy.

Going over 90 is unnecessary, unless you are at the track, and I'm sure you're too busy "racing" to watch the speedo.
