werd. I sold a guy a $700 beater integra, and he gave it a paint job and fixed it up and put in an lsvtec. He showed me the pictures and I was like It would have just rusted away in my driveway anyway.

damn 700 bucks haha

I surfed my gf's computer and found these...EDIT see page 2

I had to hybridize the used bumper i picked up and the bumper that came with the car to have the fogs installed. I drove around like this for a month and half. it looks so nasty when i look at it now.

Oh yeah and the chinese all amber turn signals. i thought I was going to like them, but it kind of throws off the theme of "stock" when i have them in there. what do you guys think?

Wills engine bay looked worse :chuckles:

I ended up having to use 1500grit sandpaper and wet sand his headlights, they were umm sort of yellowish :ugh: wet sand took care of the build up but left the lens all scratched to I bought a $15 polishing wheel kit for a drill and used plastic polish on it and they look brand new now... I'll post pics in a separate thread once i get home :hs:

if you're looking to save a buck, search junkyards and find a bumper in good condition of the same color. then just buff it back to life.

that's what i did with a driver side door, plus i swapped out the guts.

edit > nm, just saw your other thread.

whatever it is, just make sure it's meant for plastic. otherwise your headlights may turn yellowish and you'll have to clean them up all over again.

yeah the local junkyards have price gouging through the roof, and understandably so. luckily i picked up a pretty good example for a lot less than a 100 bucks.

yep specific for plastic. doesnt leave it bare and exposed to UV damage like Meguiars PlastX and other polishes that lots of people tend to use.

Looking great man! You work quick!

I might just do the same this time around. It's nice to have your build so well documented so you can see your progress step by step. Looking back on it, I really regret not taking more pictures of my motor and 01GSR build. Especially since I totalled it. I just picked up an SSBP GSR shell for $550, needs everything!

Edit: Spelling/Grammar.. "making taking" :lmao:

yeah i really wish i took pictures of all my cars. this one has the best change/time of ownership ratio though. its basically what i did to the 240sx over the last 3 years but not as extensive haha
