Mine stays dark, because I took out the three bulbs that used to light up the gauges. I found that when I didn't, I got kind of a ghosting effect of the gauges underneath (original gauges) trying to show through the overlay indiglos. But obviously that only happened when I turned my lights on.

 

Indiglo looks good in the car at night, and the most important thing is....girls love them
