I agree with changing the bulbs as a solution to adding colour to your gauges. As far as indiglo gauges I personally think they are more problems than they are worth. To each his own, though.

yea, i just installed some reverse indiglos. I think they look cool and all, but their so bright i have to dim them down A LOT so that my face and my interior isnt all lit up blue by them and so I dont see the blue reflection of them off the back of my steering wheel in my windsheild which is quite a distraction at night.

I really like the bright blue color of the numbers at night, but the ones I got also have a light blue center circle in em. This is what causes it to be so bright at night. Im thinking about getting rid of these ones sometime soon and replacing them with reverse indiglos that look really similar to the stock gauges, except they glow bright blue with a bright red redline which is sort of what i originally tried to get with blue 194 bulbs in my cluster but it didnt work out well since it was a very dull/light blue.

i like my eurolite reverse indiglo's

mainly because ive wanted to have that new vw look in my gauge cluster. these gauges arent too gaudy or anything.. the numbers and ticks and only the numbers and ticks light up on them. no ghey ring around the needles like the AC ones or whatever. i like em, just make sure they dont interfere with the needles after u install them and make sure that you use lots of adhesive to keep em down.

you could also go the blue 194 bulbs/ LED route. ive seen that and it looks nice too

Here is a pic of my gauges. I personally like them. At night they do have to be turned down to avoid glare, but its not bad. My gauges are also switchable, I can have green or blue. But since blue matches my headunit, thats all I use.

Night:

By the way, in the night pic they are really bright, because I had to turn them up to get the pic to turn out.

Thanks for the pics. They look really good. Quick question, does the odometer light up as it use to or does it stay dark?
