Default AEM v2

Has anyone had any experiences with the "new and improved" CAI by AEM, just curious.

Most of the guys I know are writing it off as a sham by AEM to make more money.

I doubt there'll be that noticeable of a difference versus the old AEM CAI (speaking solely in terms of power). Just from visual inspection the piping is a bit different; maybe they're trying to improve throttle response.

throttle response is almost the only thing you can change when designing a CIA. but top end power will be about the same with all of them.

Werd....

It's just a damn pipe with an intake that is open and sits lower than your stock one.....It doesn't do much by itself to be honest with you.

Of course, you can do the budget way and go ghetto style. I once knew this guy who used some cheap piping from Home Depot to make his own CAI. It worked out pretty nice for him actually. Matt...where are you? LOL

You remember Recac, right Eddie?
