Default just bought a 2000 gsr =)

hi, i just traded my 2000 AUTO celica GT, for a 2000 gsr. im new to hondas so here is a few questions i got.

all im gonna do to my car is lower,intake,exhaust and headers.
so who makes the best coilovers\shocks for the gsr. also wich intake is the best (im prolly gonna get AEM) exhaust and headers i want Greddy, but is there another company that makes better ones? any help would be great! thnx

Depends on what you're going to use the car for.

Ground Control is a very popular coilover sleeve set-up, and koni yellows are likewise very popular. There are better systems out there but they'll cost much more than $800 (rough cost of the GC + koni setup above).

If you're just doing bolt-ons, several companies make a 4-2-1 header for the gsr. Comptech's piece is nice; pricey, but it's pretty good for bolt-on purposes. 2.25" collector does get restrictive later down the road...

its a red gsr with 39k miles. they were asking 18,999 got it for 18k. 7yr 100,000 mile warranty

flawless inside and out.

the cool thing was that i owed 13,880 on my celica. it was only worth 12k but they paid it off anyways since i said i would purchase the gsr then.

no personal experience, but i have heard that they are extremely stiff.

skunk2's have a reputation of being really stiff when compared to gc's.

For ride quality, somewhat.

It's when you're too stiff for the shocks you have, then it becomes bad. I'm thinkin all those Skunk2 owners who suffer from bouncy rides are on their blown stock shocks.

You can order custom rates for your GC's if you want to. (and if you have the $$$)
