Default No Heat Please Help

ok here is what happend. had a hole in the rad it overheated so towed it home replaced the rad. now doesnt over heat but i have no heat in the car. could the water i tried to put in have froze during the night in the heater core? i dono what to do i need heat! any ideas? its a 90 ls coupe manual tranny.

you could have a big air bubble in the cooling system. with the engine running, shake, wiggle and bump the radiator. this will help air bubbles move to the top so they can be vented, and just add more water/antifreeze as needed. but that isnt a for sure answer.

ok i finally bit the bullet and got it to work. i took the hoses from the heater core out and blew compressed air through em. there was quite a bit of white scaling that came out at me acutally but now the heat works great. thanks for all the help. it was clogged thats all
