Default Is This To Many Miles?!

Hey guys........
I got a real important question to ask ya'll.........
today I went looking for integs.......and i looked at about 8 of them .....the majority were in the 110,000 mile range.....because i only have about 5,500$$ to spend... but i went to see one ...it is charcoal......imaculent condition.....the guy was actually outside armorally the interior when we came.....it looks like its brand new... hes in his 60's... he is a navy mechanic... and its a 94 with about 160,000 miles on it......this sort of worries me but come to think of it, it was the best one i drove out of all those other 7.... the outside was great looking and the inside was perfect... all stock wasnt abused.. at all...
should i be worryed about the mileage????....
or will i be ok... thats my question from what ive toldu guys..
a reply would be great..
thanks

He probably did take good care of it. But you know what, its got 160k miles on it. Nothing can change that. Unless he did things like replace alot of the suspension parts, bushings, engine mounts and a full engine rebuild....clutch tranny and all that other stuff. All those parts have that many miles on them.

Even if he replaced all those parts, the chassis has that many miles on it. I would personally look for a lower mileage car. I think 160k is about 80k too much for a car you want to trick out.

what is the percentage of highway miles to city miles on it?? i have a 99 dodge durango with 101k miles on it. over 80k of them were highway, and i had all the clearances checked...it has less wear than most engines the tech has seen with 30k on them.

u shouldn't get a car with that many miles on it... I know it is cheap but, u will end up paying more to fix the damn thing, couple of hundred here and there.. sigh.. yup, I had the experience..

I suggest you to get a loan or something to get a car with less miles.

Fact is. The car has 160K miles.
Even if everything was properly taken care of. The parts are *old* and used.

Little stuff may start to break. Window motors, window assemblys, door lock assemblys, windshield wiper motors, fuel pumps
etc.

I'd look elsewhere.
