hahaha, very valid point! they do things for the track not daily driving. You don't see those ITRs leave the track and drive to Pizza Hut afterwards to celebrate, do you?

The main problem here is that the headlights are one housing even though they sort of look separate. Pop the hood and look, there's only one housing. I don't think you'd want to like, cut it in half and run a tube to the intake from where the high beam used to be.

Just get the comptech icebox and cut a small hole in your right turn signal. Presto! Similar results

How about you just put a CAI on it or a Comptech or Injen Box and don't cut anything out because you wont notice a damn difference other than a nice big gulp of water or a missing light!

Yay for me!

It is possible. I've seen picture of it on a daily driver with the regular side of the headlight intact. It's also not a direct connection to the TB. On the RTR ITRs the hole where the highbeam is connects to an NSX airbox. The air just doesn't run straight up into the TB. The whole idea is to create air pressure in the box. Although I haven't seen the inside, I'd guess that there still is an air filter in there. Supposedly it creates somewhere around 1psi boost at high speeds. In theory you could just put a shield in front of the filter thus preventing water from just flying into the intake. You might also have a small drain hole in the bottom of the box to let out water that would accumulate in wet conditions. I still agree with everyone here though. It's a little riskier for a daily driver.
