Default Screw AEM! I want more air!

Dont get me wrong i love the whistle of my AEM cai, but heres the case. I've seen it a few times on other teggys and its got me thinking. Has anbody seen people take there right headlight out and connect a makeshift intake straight in to there im?I betting that would be the best way to go for a cai. i have an idea of how to do it, but has anybody done this before who can help me?
much appreciated!

DEAR LORD! drop this idea....sure it sounds great but that "RAM AIR" appeal wont work due to the bend in tubing just before the T/B.

Plus...thats more for the track and not daily driving (ie no headlight!) and i think water ingestion would be far greater to happen than with the CAI.

you do bring up a good point there, the headlight would still be fine because its only your brights but the water factor is pretty big. LT6916, do you think overall it would just be better to have an AEM cai. by the way dont get so mad its only a fourm!

The WC Realtime ITR's use this method. It's not "ram air"; the hole in the headlight allows the intake to draw in the ambient outside air versus that from the hot engine bay.

On the comptech icebox if you remove the right turn signal it does the same thing (minus the fact that you have a longer tube and more bends), so the idea is sound, just not sure if you want to run around the streets with a headlight missing.

AEM/Injen or Comptech Icebox...you pick.

i'm replacing my AEM with Comptech come this spring.

but yes, CAI are probably THE best for N/A applications, Short Ram for superchargers

Whatever you do you're not going to get much more power out of it. Start doing other mods in conjunction with yer aem cai.

Just because RealTime Acura can do it doesn't mean your street car can
