Sup yall. My car has been running funny the last couple months. It seems like it's runnin on 3 cylinders. I know somethings wrong cuz my exhaust all of a sudden got hella quiet too. Like almost half as loud as it used to be. I have a Fields v-tec controller in it and a accel ignition coil. Could it be one of those causing the problem? Ooh yah, my tachometer needle jumps all over the place when i tach it over 4.

 

Definitely don't be running it around at high RPM. Be methodical, simple to complex. Is a spark happening at all the plugs? Do you have any damaged plug wires or cap. How long were you running you controller before it started to run crappy? When is the last time you changed you fuel filter, is your fuel pump putting out. Trouble shooting can be a pain in the butt, if you are methodical, you don't end up going around in circles
