Right now the only mod I have on my 01 ITR is a Comptech Sport Ice box. I'm planning on getting a header and an exhaust in the near future. I came accross a friend selling an Apexi VAFC really cheap and thought it would be a good idea to buy it, simply for the great price. I really don't think I need it yet, but I was thinking of installing it anyway. Is it worth installing now, or should I wait till I have more mods?
Thanks for any info in advance.

I personally would wait until you had more mods, in Norcal the going rate for tuning is $180/hr., so you may as well wait until you have all the modifications you plan on getting soon.

Btw, if I'm not mistaken our cars run rich at the top end from the factory, so you'll definitely gain power (even from tuning a stock car) but if you're planning to get header/exhaust soon, then you might as well wait until all components are on before tuning it.
