he's gonna fuck up either way, so he might as well do it cheaper. not to mention turbo would make a bigger boom.

dude dont complain because you got got and wned: just because you dont have enough experience to know which one is gonna make more power between a vtec head or turbo setup

It is not anything that is not VTEC. Look on a VTEC motor. What does it say on the valve cover? VTEC. Okay.

Anyway, you're not going to get any kind of reliable turbo setup for 1500 bones unless you piece it together from parts you find in a junkyard.

I suggest that you use the search feature and read up on some past topics to get some background knowlege on the subject rather than ask very broad and general questions.

qtiger - that's pretty funny

A good lsvtec will cost you more than $1500, and so will a good turbo setup.

Definetely do some more research, and search through the past forums...you'll find lots of useful information.........there are alot of options that you have with your car; stick around and you'll see just how many choices you have.

you're gonna need a motor rebuild either way.

No offense, but questions like these pop up on average about three times a week. If you searched there's no way you would put "vtech" in your topic line.

I would think turbo would be more reliable and give you better overall powergains. (unless you turbo a LS-VTEC motor). But I'm thinking the gains from the latter aren't worth the cost $$$.

Well thanks guys.. i dunno if i will need a rebuild though, it has 87K on it and is running pretty good... I would like to turbo it, but i really need it to be reliable. And i dont really feel like spending 3-4 grand on one of the preassebled turbo kits... How much is a reliable turbo set up going to be?
