Default Fit-it ticket for TINT! HELP!

I got a ticket a little while a go for having "restricted view." Well i just looked at the ticket and i have to get it fixed by tomarrow. Anyone know what i should do. I have tint on the front windows and the tint is too dark on the sides and rear i guess. BTW i have a 95' 2 door gsr and i live in the the bay area (san ramon). Does anyone know of a good way to take off the tint , or better yet know any cops that would just sign it off for me? This happen to anyone else? what did you do? THANKS!

the tint on the driver and passenger side doors is very mild, and the rest is pretty dark, but i wouldnt say limo tint dark. I dont know all the exact visibility numbers because the guy i bought the car from had already tinted them when i got it. And i live in california in case tint laws are more strict here(everything else is )

how mild is ur tint? mine's pretty dark and i haven't yet to get a ticket..the laws for california i think go as far as u can't have a tint darker then 88% but most factory tints are 35%...u shouldn't worry about rear windows they can be as much as u like so if u got a ticket on them i say fight it

take a picture of the someone else's car without tints on it and show it at court. that'll give you some time to take off your tints. (you don't have to take them off but I would because if you're busted again, it's prolly gonna be a big fine)

i tried reading the cali vehicle code crap, but i hate reading legal garbage. but from what i understand, as long as you have side mirrors, you can paint your rear side and rear windows with black paint if you want. but as for the front side windows, 88% is the maximum tint allowable.

personally, i have 50% in the front and 35% in the rear. my friend has 50% front and 5% rear. we've had it for years with no problems. another guy had 35% in the front and got pulled over for it after about 2 months. he re-tinted with 50% in the front and no problem.

If you can get a letter from a friendly optomotrist or deermatologist to say that you have some sort of eye or skin problem that is alleviated by tinted windows, you can get by with a medical necessity defense. My wife had a melanoma taken off her leg, consequently I won't be having to strip any tint off my eindows. I have not had to defend it yet in California, but a judge is gong to be very leery of telling someone with a letter from a doctor to go against what the letter says.
