Default Rattling

Do any of you guys have a problem with your guage cluster rattling? Mine does it when it's warming up. Just wanted to know if it's only my car. Thanks

Are you running aftermarket motormounts?

Aftermarket gauge cluster?

Maybe the frequency of your exhaust when the engine is stone cold matches the resonant frequency of your gauge cluster h:

If you really want, try putting on a different exhaust and see if it still rattles. You mentioned it only does this when your car warms up, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

The kick panel on the left of the steering column vibrates. I just stuck a piece of cardboard in the seam and it stopped.

I don't have much vibration. The only rattles I have are the passenger side visor (and there is a TSB for that)....

and the rear side interior panels are creaking and stuff, but thats because I lost 2 clips when I put them on, lol. So that can be fixed.

My guage cluster (plastic piece) does vibrate too, at like 1500RPM no matter warm or cold. What am I gonna do? Take an eraser from a Pencil and jam it in between the housing and the plastic, way up there -- no more rattle. I had this same problem with my Jetta.

Every thing is stock on the car, but it sounds like the plastic that covers the speedo, tach etc. How do i take the black plastic part off to get to the screws that hold the clear plastic on?? I tried but it didn't want to come off even when the two screws were out.
any suggestions?
