Default More horsepower out of an N/A B18

Anyone knows how to get more hp out of an N/A b18a1. I have very little money. Not like thats anything new.

Nitrous would be your best bet if your pressed for cash. You also reduce the longevity of the motor without good gas and a tune.

5 speed or auto?

If auto, I/H/E.

If 5 speed, I/H/E and cams.

yeah its a 5 speed. Cams might be a good bet. I'm just getting everything tuned out right now. what is I/H/E tho.

Its the right hobby i just have a really shitty job. walmart isn't exactly anything to cheer about. if i can get through college then financial trouble probably won't be an issue.

Then take a conservative approach and leave the motor stock (or near stock) until you have the bank roll to finance a major build or move on to a newer, faster machine.

Case in point: i bought my Integra a few years before I returned to college. To date, I've invested only about $3K in the car. Nearly all of it has gone into upgrades separate from the motor.

It was never going to be the fastest car in LA, there are far too many RS4s, F430s and 911 Turbos for that to be the case. So I focused on making the car an enjoyable daily driver instead.

I'd suggest you do the same.
