Shingo,
Man, I hear you... In my case, yes, I want a clean image with my car. Every project I have ever worked on, I have tried to make a change that was my own, without making it look ghetto (with the exception of my Monte Carlo in HS, but that is another story).
I agree with the hyperblinker and altezza comments, I mean, you might as well pick up some APC and other huge graphics and stick them all over the body and across the windshield, even though you have none of those products on the car....

With my Teg, I made the choice to get wheels first, partially encouraged by my wifey because she, as well, agreed the stock 14" hubcaps sucked. I picked a wheel that complemented the car as it made a bigger impact on the appearance of the car (in my opinion).

And I would lower the car right now, but I wouldn't be able to pull into my garage if I didn't. I'm dragging ass as it is......

Peace.

not really. considering there are people on this board who pay $400 for a single rim!

she is driving a 00 SE, so it should have the gs-r rims on it. so i would say lower it now, using something along the lines of Eibach Pro-lines. that way, if she did decide to get after market wheels, the chances of rubbing are very slim.

personally, i would slap some nice tires(BFG G-force maybe) on the stocks rims, get some GC coilovers(so i can raise lower depending if it has snowed here) with KYB AXG's. and there you go, a good looking, sweet handling car.

cdowny00,
Stockholm Getaway 2 is the coolest movie I have ever seen. Two crazy ass drivers with 450 hp turbo supra and turbo ford tearing up stockholm and running from police! Stockholm Getaway 1 was pretty cool ( porsche 911 ) but not as...Look it up
Have you seen Getaway in Stockholm 3 yet? They finally have aerial footage.....

FYI.....

there was no "SE" model in 2000, it was: LS, GS, GSR, ITR

lower it first...i lowered my teg on stock 95 GSR wheels and i'm VERY happy (probably keeping the wheels too)
