I usually take it to 6000RPM once a day, but only redline it (6600RMP) maybe once every 5 days.

I redline only when I'm racing someone at the light.

Need a valve adjustment so I tend to not redline very often.

I hate to abuse my car for no damn reason at all.

i probably redline 2-3 times a day. pretty much every onramp i encounter means 3 consecutive redlines, or atleast close. and under bridges ofcoarse. i agree that its bad for your engine to do it all the time, but why did i pay all this money to have a fast car? so i could drive it like an old woman? FAWK NO! i once drove it at the limit for 15 minutes straight: you know, 2nd, redline, 3rd, redline, 4th, BRAKE, TURN, 2nd......that was the most fun ive ever had. redlining is what makes having a car worthwhile. and a B series Vtec engine was made to rev high, so let it do what it does well...redline. my uncle runs an extrememly tricked out BMW 2002 that redlines at 7900, and that is phenominal for such an old sohc engine. but i can redline at 8400 every day. right now my engine is in perfect health at 111000 miles. as soon as it starts eating oil, if ever, ill just rebuild it and continue to beat the crap out of it. :fawk:

when i had my gs-r, i used to take it to the tunnel under the airport. i would redline 4th, turn around and do it again...and again. thank god it was a toll tunnel or i would have killed my engine in there. instead i ran out of quarters.
