Default I want to hit high 13s !!!

OK someone on this website suggested that I do this, so I will give it a shot. I have a 92 LS right now, and by next summer I want to have a car that will hit high 13s. I can either stick with my 92 LS and build it up, or I can buy a 94-95 GSR in 2 months and build that up...........My budget is about 5000 $ all together (If I end up getting the GSR, it will drop to about 2500 $). So what do you guys think.....do you think that I should just build my 92 LS up with my 5000 $, or do you think that I should get the GSR , with 2500 left to build it up ? Which, based on your guys experience, do you think will get me to high 13s by next summer ?

P.S. Also, Do any of you guys know about any cable to hydraulic conversion kits ?

You'd probably have better luck slapping a turbo on that LS and tuning that with the $5k budget. Might be kinda tough to hit 13s with only 2500 to put into a GSR. And i haven't heard anything about a cable to hydraulic kit, but just go with the YS1 tranny out of the 92-93 GSRs and you should be pretty set

you could easily hit high 13s with a GSR on that budget with nitrous

or you could turbo the LS

I'd replace that revhard mani with an inline pro. If you dont mind ditching your ac go with a full 3'' system and get a 3'' downpipe. Hondata is  for obd1's but instead of spending the extra cash on rc injectors find some dsm's and get them cleaned and blueprinted. Turbo size is really your choice but i would rather go with a t3/t04e. If you dont mind spending a big chunk of your cash on the turbo then you might even consider a pt60. Fatbooty is right tho....lots of dyno time and you'll be deep into the 13's if you do it right.

In every way, except that drag's piping is bling bling'd. The drag3 kit comes with a t3/t04e .63 a/r and 57 trim.
