Default My brother blew his valves, HELP!!!!!!

I will surely appreciate any info but, my brother just blew 2 valves in his 91 Ls Integra. Does anyone have instructions or how to's on replacing the B18A1 head, I've got another on w/ titanium in it but I need help. Anyone please!!!!!!

just remove the cover, the cams, the bridges, the springs, rockers, valves, and valve retainers.

replace (recommend UPGRADE) the valves, retainers, and springs.

he bought a whole new unit and I figured the I needed to replace the whole thing, so i took off the headers, anf the intake manifold last night, should I put them back on and just replace the internals??

what about the rods?? Should I be worried about them?? I'm new to all of this I need real good instructions if you can tell me what to do.

Did he bend them or blow them up?


If they shattered, say bye bye to the engine.

You'll have to take off the head to replace the valves. While the head is off you can see the condition of the pistons, but if he floated a valve i wouldn't be too optimistic

what exactly does it mean to "float a valve" what are some other similar conditions that can occur?

yea thats what im thinking. Did he over rev way hell pass redline and bent his valves??
