Default 1989 integra steering knuckle??

My car is making a clunking and Im told I need a 1989 integra steering knuckle.

My mechanic says it's no longer available new, and he cant find a used one either.
Anyone have any tips for me?

In a message below, I added a picture of exactly what I need.

Are some Hondas the same parts? Anyoen have any leads for me?

Need more explanation of your mechanics term "knuckle" is. My definetion would be the part that holds the wheel bearing and attaches to the upper control arm. There's nothing that goes bad on that that would need replacing. Other than bending it in a collision or something. The upper ball joint attaches to it, which is available as a whole upper control arm. The lower ball joint attaches to it, which is available seperately. The out tie rod attaches to it, which is available seperately. All of these things can cause a clunk.

If he's talking about the knuckle (u joint) on the steering shaft, I'm sure you can get one new somewhere, but if by chance you can't, hit up a junk yard or a board member.

I guess the strut sits in this, and it was damged by a loese strut.

Acura says they have none, but I am hoping someone reading knws if there's a Honda that uses ths same exact part, or knows of a source fro new or used..

Oh, I see, close to what I was describing, different from later ones though. I guess you'll have to post in the wanted section, check Ebay and try one of those locater scrap yards on the net.

Where are you located?
