Default Alternator?

I recently had my motor rebuilt...lately, everytime I started it up, the belts would screetch until I revved it up...On my way to class today, i noticed my clock and cd player was dimmed...got to the school parking lot..my speakers started giving out..turned off my car, radio came back but clock was gone. turned off my car and tried turning it over, and it is dead. So, alternator?

If so, whats the best way to get to that damn thing, cuz its hard to reach! any ideas?

oh yeah, I have a 96' GSR

First of all, tighten the belt up and jump it. Take it to Autozone and have them test the alternator and battery free of charge.

If you have to change the alternator. The best way that i've done it is to remove the fuel injector rail and pull it from the top.
