changing oil....
Stands are only like $10-15. I dunno if I'd get under a car that was supported by stands I made. Unless you're really confident in your welding skills. ANyway, I didn't have a problem getting the filter off after a shop did the oil change. I bought the "cap" thing Antarius is talking about (I thought that was called an oil filter wrench
) but I didn't even need it. Careful you don't burn your arm on the exhaust pipe like some people (hehe).

Of course, on the other hand, if you let it sit for a half day, it will all settle to the bottom and maybe more will come out then. Who knows.

I change my oil when it's hot, drains faster.
Wewt.
The filter is easier to take off by hand too.
Kragens takes your oil, up to 5 gallons a day (or week, depends where), and they even GIVE YOU 0.32c per gallon you bring in.
So, take it there.
I just bring it back in the new-oil quarts.

well I just got done changing the oil. Thanks for the tip Antarius about the cap on the filter. I went out to buy that today and it came off in a snap. Yay, don't have to change my oil for another 5000 miles...hehe....Redline!
