What all does the kit come with? I think your going to need alot more parts than you think. You will need to do alot of research before anything. Here is a link of some stuff you should reed up on http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...ch_center.html where in the state of Oregon do you live?
anytime you add force induction to a car you will need a proper fuel management system.. you can go the cheap way and use a fmu buts its not safe.. best thing to do is to tune the car after you put on the turbo.. that will give u more horsepower even at 4psi, and your car will last alot longer or atleast ur engine will.. well yeah good luck wit everygting man..
I just successfully turbo'd my 2000 LS which has a B18B1 in it and this is what it took:
FIRST was 7 months research and parts purchasing. I learned a few lessons on what not to buy and I could do it again very easily and save money. My setup is running this:
*Garrett T3/T4 Hybrid, rebuilt. (Saves lots of money buying rebuilt, but be carefull!)
*BLOX T3 Mani (Not bad, about $200 off Ebay. Keeps A/C and PS.)
*TurboSmart Ultra-Gate 35 (Bought used, works great!)
*HKS BOV (Bought used, has valve tensioner. Works!)
*RC 440cc Injectors (Bought new, needed for extra fuel.)
*OBD1 ECU (Basemap from phearable.net w/ conversion harness.)
*GReddy FMIC (Bought new, VERY Pricey, not sure on Ebay ones..)
*GlowShift Boost Gauge
*GlowShift Oil Pressure Gauge
*Mishimoto Alum. Radiator w/ 14" Slimline fan
*Ebay Charge Pipe Set (Bought new, good construction, works great!)
*Ebay 5-bolt 2.5" EZR Downpipe (Ebay New, didn't fit right but is going to work with cutting one piece and welding.)
*Ebay Oil Return Fitting (Aluminum Bolt-on, for oil pan.)
*Carquest Various Vacuum Lines $10ish (BOV, Wastegate, Boost Gauge.)
*Carquest Oil Return (about 9" of 3/8" Tranny line.)
*Carquest Various Hose Clamps
*Misc. Bolts/Hardware from local store
Very hard to track down a whole kit like I did, but it's also a fun and rewarding process. Basically you can deduct what you have from my list and find the rest to get about everything you need to turbo your car, but be ready for 6+ hours install time, maybe some modifications to your car and have patience. I'm so happy mine's done besides welding the exhaust, it pays off greatly in the end.
Have fun man! This site is full of great info on doing it right.

You're not going to blow you're engine @ 4PSI. It is a lot more in depth than you think you can really budget a kit together I've even seen those Ebay kits succeed for years of driving at a solid 7 psi the whole time but I don't suggest it, the turbo and manifold are definately the last 2 places you wanna cheap out on. Also it's got to be intercooled, you don't HAVE to but it's retarded if you don't and bad on the turbo. It's really in depth but good luck to you and keep posted up along the way and pictures.
thanks for replying to my post everyone....i know it's really in depth and all but when i talk to people they say you can run 4psi and not change any fuel managment or anything,,then i hear people say that you have too change it. i have the hole turbo kit..everything..hears what i can remember off the top of my head...header,blow off valve,wastegate,t3/t4 turbo(brand new),intercooler,piping,downpipe,gauges....i just wanna know if i put it on and all that if i have to tune it just with 4psi or is it alright to have runnin stock..Thanks everyone....you guys on here are really helpful and i appreciate it
4 psi is impossible to stick with. Eventually, you will want to run more boost when you get a little boost happy. My first turbo integra, I was running 6 psi on stock internals because it was a DD. Now I am boosting 14.5 psi and loving every moment of it. It's all in the tune, which makes a difference how long your engine last. I have 310cc injectors for sale if your interested.
Yes you will need some kind of engine mangement to tune. You should do a compression test before installing the turbo. Alot of people will run about 6-8 psi stock. You should always tune it when putting on something like a turbo. Find out what the turners in your area work with and go from there. Taking it to a dyno is the best way to get a good tune. Alot of kits will come with some injectors but your going to need a better fuel pump. You should do alot research on this... alot of people just like to talk out their ass to make them sound smart. Listen to some of the people that have been here for awhile, they know what they are talking about. I had to learn the hard way.
