Buy the B16A, save some $$$ and rebuild to a 2.0 L stroker. Lots of power and potential...plus, if ne1 want's to race you can say you have a stock B16 They'll never know what hit 'em.

if you are going to decide to go with the B16...then you have no choice but to build it up if you want to be quick. yes the B16 was offered as the engine in the DA model in Japan, but it was not impressive at all. ive seen DA integras with B16 swaps, and theyre ummm...ok i guess? its the built ones that actually get moving

Isn't that an oxymoron? I'd get a 2liter CRV block personally, and put your LS head on it.

First off, if your LS head is still good it will bolt right up, so all you have to buy is the shortblock. 2nd, it's been rumored to flow better than the CRV, but I haven't seen any flowbench numbers.

i have two options rite now..jus the engine w/o tranny
if i get the b16a wit je pistons, eagle rods, a strong head gasket w/labor is 2700
the same with an ls engine, which is wat i have and stay with the same ls turbo set up is 50 dollars cheaper..
so wat im saying is that with this..they're basically the same price..but which way should i go?

The b16a with the LS tranny will be slow. A turbo LS will be faster than any n/a B16a. I'd go LS turbo if it's cheaper.

civic engine in a teg??
WORST idea EVER! the teg motors are "superior" to the civic motors. never downgrade, always upgrade!

get a JDM b18c!!!!!! or just turbo.
