B16A block in a LS head

Default B16A block in a LS head

i want to know if a b16a block will work with a b18a LS head and i want to know b16a pistons will work in b18a block with LS head and i want to know whitch is beter

pretty sure the b16 head will go on the b18 block but dont quote me on that....

no you got it back ward b18a head with b16a block
or b18a head with b18a block with b16a pistons

im sure its possible if your trying to piece something together.. but i don't know of anyone putting a non vtec head on a vtec block.. do more research i guess

ohhh you want to do a VTEC-LS swap.

i joked about it in the past, but most people said it couldnt be done, theres too many mis-matching dimensions of the block and head. its not like a true LS-VTEC conversion, where dowel pins and oil lines are the only modifications needed. i forgot what exactly interferes with each other though.

sorry.

if you were to just drop in b16 pistons in a LS engine, they would work and raise the compression to about 10.6 i believe. but i could be wrong.
