i had that same problem but my car started with me pressing gas pedal. It was the coolant temp sensor.

That puts the computer into "Clear flood" mode. That means no matter what the coolant temp sensor says the injectors will stop pulsing. Makes total sense. I even have a coolant temp sensor code but since the sensor seems to test fine and the wiring was fine I was baffled. I am going to change the sensor right now. If that don't work im gonna scream.
