There's too much play in the cv's. Anyone know where I can get a manual trans for a 1996 Integra? I mean, what else could it be...?

 

Before you get into too much else, are you sure the cvs are locked into the tranny? Sometimes you have to line them up and tap them into place with a hammer. They have a snap ring on them to hold thim in. I had one of mine not locked in before and it popped out making quite the bang.

 

Yeah, at least I thought it was in. We took them out and put them in twice. How hard is it to line these things up???? The only thing I'm sure of is the intermediate shaft. That mf is in. The passenger side shaft is another situation. I could always try again. We tapped it and everything. Which one did you have trouble with?
