Default A/C out

Ok well i went down to a shop to have them put freon in my car today and they told me someone cut into one of the lines and it would cost $450 all together. So now i'm just going to take it out. Don't really know what i'm doing but i'm going to try. Any tips would help alot. I'm going to start the pull tomorrow afternoon.

Just pull out anything A/C related. It is probably the most fun you will have working on your car. Start at the firewall and remove everything including the dryer, belt, condenser, all related relays, compressor, lines, and drivers side fan. Total weight savings will be ~28 lbs. I stopped at the firewall because if the evaporator is removed without a block off plate, the ducts will not be functional and the blower and heat won't work properly anymore.

Here is my thread about this same subject.

Start at the A/C compressor. Remove the belt (I just cut it off), remove the compressor and then follow the lines out to the dryer (under the chassis next to the windshield washer reservoir) and condensor (radiator looking thing in front of the actual radiator). Then just follow the lines to the firewall. The drivers side fan can also be removed unless you want to wire it into the radiator fan for extra cooling.

Ok so i thought i would take the front bumper off tonight and start work tomorrow. I got all the screws on the top along the front off and the 2 blots on both sides. The fender well plastic was never connected to the front bumper. What else is holding it on?
