hey, a friend of mine has given me a brand new blaster coil and i want to put it in i just want to know if any one knows of a DIY or something i know that i need to get an 8ohm ballast resistor and what i want to know is do i just hook the + and - wires up to the black box on the inside on the dirstributor or to the wire that goes to it and if i do attach the wires to the wires on the distrubitor can i remove the old coil in the distributor.

 

your stock ignition system is fine sell it and spend the money on something worth while.. those things suck for our cars

 

Speaking from experience it is pointless to use. However, if you hook a car battery up to it and shoot at it with a firearm it will make a nice little explosion. Be sure to stand about a good 40 feet back though.
