Default Installing Cams

I am installing skunk2 stage 2 cams. I had skunk2 springs and retainers installed professionally. When it's all bolted in, I cant for the life of me spin the cam gear to turn the cam. It's as if it was over torqued or something, but I torqued to 20ftlbs as the helms manual asks... Any ideas? I have heard these springs are very stiff, but you would still think I could spin the cam gear and cam by hand... How else could I get the timing setup..?

What are you using to turn it?

I was trying to use the timing belt on one cam gear to pull the gear around, but now I have heard that I will probably only be able to turn it with a breaker bar on the nut of the cam gear. Does that sound right?

I just use a 3/8" socket wrench and a 14mm socket to turn the bolt on the gears. Once they are bolted in, they are extremely difficult to turn just by grabbing them or using the timing belt.

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't it easier to turn the cams by turning the crank pulley?

Not if the timing belt isn't attached.

Why not do it the correct way by using a socket? Is this not obvious?
