For the time being a manual swap would be the best thing to do.

It sounds like you are not truly passionate about accomplishing your goals, you just want "horsepower." Theres nothing wrong with that if you can afford to drop your car off at a shop with a blank check and pay them whatever it takes, but it seems your just looking for the easiest and cheapest way to fame. In my opinion, an enthusiasts forms there own ideal setup after years of reading, trial & error, experience, dedication and a decent amount of funding.

If you want a fast car but have no interest in researching, or putting forth any effort to learn on your own then your better off saving your money and paying somebody who knows. If you really want to make this a very large portion of your life, stop being lazy! Its not hard to find out everything you need to properly turbo charge your LS and make 250 + whp for < 3K. If I remember correctly, a fairly knowledgable HAN member offered to show you the ropes because he lives close to you. Why didn't you take advantage of that?

Heres a few links if you decide this is for you. Google is your friend...

I could go on and on, my Bookmarks folder consists of many categorized automotive folders, ranging from tunning to FI to physics, etc etc. It's my encyclopedia to the auto world.

Edit: Sorry for the rant, not trying to be an ass. It's been a frustrating day.
I am passonite about my car and building it, but since i am on a budget i don't want to learn the hard way and buy the wrong parts.

I have also been resurching alot and i think have come a long way from when i first came to this forum. Sure i still need to learn more but i can do that. This is unfortonaly not a large portion of my life between the over 40 hours at Starbucks and 12 units at school i am having a hard time trying to fit the car in.

Don't worry i have bad days to

P.S. thanks for links

I hear that if you work at Starbucks you make great money. Obviously I don't know your personal finances, but for landing a job there + school, you seem pretty good :]
