If it were somehow a magical automatic GSR, it wouldn't crank at all with a bad neutral safety switch...just like the clutch switch in a manual.

As for this problem:
Does the car drive oddly at all, feel sluggish, hiccup at all?
How do the plugs look? Fouled? Clean?
Could be fuel pump, main relay, fuel filter, starter on its way out...a lot of things...just gotta start narrowing it down.

have you had the starter tested?? it could also be that its not engaging properly with the flywheel

yea everything tested out good when it was at acura last week only because it started everytime for them so unless it doesn't start on them then they can pin point the problem

i'd say starter or ignition coil.. you can have them tested both at autozone

Because it happens intermittently, and you replaced the entire ignition system. Fuel pump turns on.

well if it happens off and on then it can be your starter is going out.
