nice info. damn, I pretty much just bought my dc 4-1's. now i find out that they are not that good. well, guess i gotta save some more. anyone have advise on a good cat and exhaust combo if i go with a good header w/ 2.5 collector? I would search on this but that led me to the rsr exmag which was just dogged on so i figure preferred pieces differ every little while.

 

SMSP, RMF, Hytech, DTR/SSR all top header builders or you can buy their knock of versions(profab, rage, f1 spec). Just get a custom madrel bent 2.5" exhaust from kteller or something. If you aren't looking to push to much power and like quietness the RS*R is definately the way to go!

stock cat will do you just fine. Don't listen to anyone that tells you it is a huge restriction that robs any measurable amount of hp. honda cats are very free flowing. trying to replace it will just cost you money, cause emmisions problems and you'll help destroy the environment just so you can "feel" a little faster.

you should be able find the exmag for closer to 500 shipped, look around.

 

but when you get a bigger header and exhaust you wont a cat to match so you dont have any bottlenecks
