Default new clutch.....now car wont move?!

Recently dropped a new motor in my teg. Replaced the clutch/fw/throwout bearing in the process. Got the thing running earlier today....it runs like a champ....drove it around the block, shifting up to 4th gear with no problems at all. Came back, adjusted clutch pedal for less give in the pedal. Started backing out of my driveway to take it around the block once more....when all of a sudden the car wouldn't go anywhere. The clutch pedal still pushes in without any problems...the car goes into gear, but you can still push it (like its not even in gear). ANY IDEAS?!

Sounds like it decided to stop engaging. When you took it for a test run did you run it hard or did you baby it? I know that may be a stupid question...but we need to eliminate that fuck up right off the bat. A misalignment would be obvious right from the go. I am thinking it is not engaging but I don't know why.

haha yeah i did baby the hell out of it....

but i jsut figured out what it is...

the passanger side axle popped out of the trans...the clip on the end of the axle shitted out....so its no big deal..just gotta replace that...

so pretty much everything was working just fine...the axle just wasn't in the whole way.

Thank god its nothing huge...i was about to strap a time bomb to the car.

I was going to tell you to check the axles. My car did the same thing and i freaked out but all i had to do was push the axle in a little bit and "click", worked fine.
