I would get the alternator tested, Autozone and Advance usually provide this service free of charge.

Is it a gen 2 or 3? How do you know it's your alt and not the battery? Did you have someone load test them?

If it's a gen3, I was able to remove the fuel rail and pull the alt through the top. All together maybe 30 minutes and if your new, 1-2hours.

alright.. i know its the alt. because the battery is putting out 12v's. so its not that. 2-3 days ago... my battery light came on. then my dash/reg. lights would dim an my heat would be on 4 but act like its on 1, when i put the high bems on my radio would turn off an turn back on... an it would do the same thing when i turned on my blinkers.. so i posted bout the light being on, an people told me it was not the battery. the battery was bought in 05 so its still somewhat new. i tested it an its putting out 12v's. so which would i need?? its a 94 rs b18c out of a 91-93 tegra non-vtec. because ive been calling an it sounds like theres 2 different alt's. so which 1 would i need?
