And regading your question about picking the correct alternator:
Read the code stamped into your engine block.
The 94-01 Integra RS came with the B18B1 motor... NOT the B18C1.

the thing is.. my motor is not the orignal motor.. my motor is a non-vtec b18 out of a 90-93 tegra... ill figure out which 1 i need today when i pull it.. thanks though... ill make sure to use your name... ok "theotherdave"

I would order an alternator for the 90-93 Integra GS.

something doesn't add up here. The alternator failing won't directly cause any problems, it just means the battery won't be getting charged. if your alternator isn't working your battery should be dead. you may just be measuring surface charge, turn on your headlights and and try it again. It should read above 13 volts if it is fully charged.

fixed the problem. i changed out my old alt. and put in a new alt for a 94 rs. no problems at all.. the car is running like new again. i had a little trouble with my throttle but that just needed to be cleaned. so the car is running great.. ill have pictures of my ride up soon....
