Default Start up problem....

It started happening this morning when i went to start my car it wouldnt stay on... It starts for a short second and turns off... I have to push the gas pedal 3/4 of the way in, in order for it to start... Is there something wrong with the F.I. or the gas pump?

Fix it! It was the contacts on the key cylinder... sandpaper did the trick... Once again Thanks for all the input guys :bigok: Now time for a doobie :bandito:

I'm having the same issue. I think my issue is related to my ECT sensor CEL that I've had for a while now. Replaced the sensor and still no luck. Still throwing the code and still having the same problem. It usually starts and stays running after a few minutes of messing with it though.

Well I had it fixed yesterday, BUT... A short while ago it turned of on me while I was driving!!! There is two metal plates that turn when you turn the key. When the car is running, It gets knock out of the ON position and goes into ACC, So the car turns off.
