If your oil is shit, broken down, sooted up and no-good then it is not doing its job and VTEC depends on oil pressure to function to optimum expectations. It is like riding on tires w/no thread, would you then expect to have traction?

well i just changed my oil to 5w30 fully syn, and it made alot of difference , now my vtec is fine, is kicking in even better then before. thanks alot everyone

Keep an eye on your oil level, if it was low before you might have a leak.

Yeah, but you have an s2k and when that VTEC hits it's like an extra 100 horses or something...
