Default suspension question

I have Tein Flex coilovers. One of my rear shocks is blown. I am planning on installing Tokico Illuminas on the back, however I want to take the springs from the coilovers and use them with the Tokicos. I've heard that its not recommended...I just would like to hear some opinions. Thanx.

You can't do that. Compare stock springs and tein springs and you will see why.

1. Tokico Illuminas suck.
2. Why replace a Tein setup with Tokico?

Just get a replacement.

you cant remove the spring from a coilover and use it in a standard spring/strut application.

Umm....call up Tein and see if you can get a replacement damper? I'm sure it will cost less than the Illuminas and a set of springs.
