Default Just got a Magnaflow cat for my GSR

The Maganflow cat arrived at my house today, I'll get it installed sometime this month. This piece completes the exhaust system on my GSR. 2" Greddy header>2.25" cat>2.36" ExMag. The only other bolt-on is a CTR intake cam. I'm aiming for tuning in February(tax refund time), and shooting for 160whp on my mild NA setup. I'm considering the ITR/CTR exaust cam as well before tuning. All comments and suggestions are welcome.

Now that you made me think about it, I do want to add a 64mm ported throttle body with a port-matched intake manifold. I'm not planning to use adjustable cam gears or upgraded valvetrain, but I just wonder, is it really worth getting the CTR exhaust cam?

you should. you can free up a few more hp by adjusting the cams.

Not worth it to buy the exhaust cam. How come you decided to go small with the setup? I have jdm 4-1->2.5 cat->rsr. It works decently, but I will be upgrading soon.

Well, my motor almost has 180k miles on it, so I want to stay on the conservative side. The good thing is that its only a weekend car, but when its time to rebuild, I will try to extract every hp out of it. For now, I'm just looking for ITR/Type S power. Maybe cam gears would be worth it, I'll ask my future tuner and see what he says about that.

at 180k, might as well start researching and collecting the parts that you want to use when you rebuild your motor, just a suggestion.

I don't if you need to or not, but you won't get an 02 sensor in there. Trust me I had that exact same one.
