Default turbo

Hi, I have been thinking about boosting my 91 ls but I was wondering if I wanted to run 8 psi boost if I would have to upgrade stock internals. I also have been reading and I see that some kits make you have to take out you AC the Turbonetic kit was one that I liked do you guys think that is a good starter kit for someone who has never had a turbo before? thanks in advanced

the edelbrock is a little more expensive, but it comes with just about everything you need to bolt on and go.

if you want to go above 10 psi then it is highly recommened that you upgrade to forged internals

you dont need to upgrade internals for the amount of boost you want to run.

PSI don't mean dick every turbo varies, so that statement is completely false, i have a fully stock bottom end, and i run 12 psi... so its all about CFM's not PSI....

Provided a great tune, you could max out either of those kits without touching the internals. The Greddy kit is capable of ~18 psi with an efficient downpipe and external wastegate.
