is there a way to convert the 18g or whatever size turbo in the greddy kit to external wastegate? or did you mean upgrading the turbo?

honda auto's just suck when you try to throw a lot of power at them. you can rebuild them to handle more power but it's just not as fun as driving a stick.

alright thanks I guess I will look into doing a auto-manual conversion. I have been looking and the lowest year i can find on the turbokits is for a 1992 would that be ok even though I have a 1991? Does Edelbrock even make a turbokit for a 91 integra?

You can run any internally wastegated turbo on an externally wastegated setup. The internal wastegate flapper needs to be welded shut or removed and a new manifold with an external wastegate flange welded onto it needs to be used.

Sorry to rebring this up but would it be better for me to start out with upgradeing the pistons and rods first and then a little while latter put on a turbo after I have built up the engine a little bit.

you should turbo it first and if you feel the need for more power then upgrade the internals.

When you start thinking about boost, you should at least start out by doing a compression check and/or a leak-down test to find out how healthy your motor is. Once you get the numbers, you can start thinking about rebuilding or upgrading your internals, if necessary. We're talking about about a '91 here, so I would assume you have a lot of miles on it.
