Default Tegs Coming Back...some Help Needed

Hey guys...yea I know its been a while, sorry!
Ever since the S2K purchase the teg has been sitting. Another reason why the teg sat for 3months is cuz i didnt want to fix my heater core problem. But its done and everything is back in.
Before I go to start it up I figure to check my oil. Those of you who dont know I had the turbo in for a few months then the car sat. I put Mobil 1 Full Syn. in and I wanted to see if I burned any off. I check the dip stick and NO OIL!
*WHAAAAAAAT* so I check it again, and again, and again. NO OIL!
NOW, I dont THINK I drained it. I had a "radiator" problem so I drain the radiator fluid...there would be no reason for me to drain the oil. SO, Im thinking that somehow 4qts evaporated (NO WAY POSSIBLE) or someone drained my car and stole my oil...haha

ANYWAY, My question is how many qts to be sure...4 qts right?
And what weight are you turbo guys using? I cant rememebr the weight I used but I know it was Mobil 1 Full Syn.

thanks guys...mabye I can hit the track and dyno b4 it snows!

5w-30.
5w=weight before normal running temp
30=weight during normal running conditions.
4.2 qts you need

Exactly.
If you're in the snowbelt and/or routinely operate the car in sub-freezing temps, 10w30 offers better protection when the motor is stone cold.

Otherwise, use 5w30 and let the motor come up to temp before wailing on it.

Yeah, you'll be fine. Just be sure to use a quality oil filter..(i.e., not FRAM).

You might notice a slight drop in fuel economy, but nothing drastic.

i use mobil 1 oil filter

drop im MPG...is this due to thicker oil. it puts more strain on the motor?
why doesnt everyone just go with 10w to be safe...why bother with 5w

Really, should I put 10w30 during winter? I'm gonna have to start it early every morning this winter.
