Default Clutch Problem 2 *****

My clutch has only about 4-6 inches maybe less or a lil more give or take between it being pushed down all the way and released all the way. if i have the clutch pressed completely down if i release the clutch less then a inch it already starts to idle low and almost stall. my MC and SC are only like 1yr old. so was wondering why its like that maybe, i had my brakes done like 4 days ago and after that it seemed different so maybe that had something to do with it.

Hydraulic systems don't have a clutch cable.

I would look at the pedal adjustment at the master cylinder and see if it is can be adjusted to engage farther from the floor. Also check the fluids and bleed the clutch. Maybe there is air in the lines. If that doesn't help, your clutch may be worn out and in need of replacing.
