I agree with Mo and Schmoo. If you want to keep your daily driver reliable with some added power, go with the best that Honda has to offer - ITR and CTR components. I'm not saying aftermarket companies don't make reliable products, it just depends on how much power you want to make and how far you want to push your engine. Almost every brand/company has a component that works better than another, wisely choose the best one for your car.

"What is?" and where can I find ITR and CTR? So your saying I should use B18c5 cams, or possible H22a cams to replace my old b18c1 cams.

Some interesting reading on max piston speed

.... I recall from years ago that you want to keep max piston speed under 4500 fps for best reliability. There's something magical about that number .... so best not to rev the living daylights out of the engine if you want it to last forever. You want to increase BMEP to increase power.... bore it, make it breathe better, and/or force-feed it.

Schmoo isn't a mod. because he is just too cool of guy...Anyways, I've heard the del sol domed pistons are a nice upgrade for the b-18 and a good way to raise compression.

you can find used itr or ctr cams and pistons all over this board's classified's and also on honda-tech. just so you know, 00-01 itr and ctr cams are identical and ctr pistons in a b18c will make compression too high for street driving. not saying it cant be done, but you're margin for error when tuning is smaller.

m22x's are a relatively big cam that likes 11.5:1+ compression for max effectiveness.

You cannot use H-series parts inside a B-series motor and vice-versa. JDM B18C or B16B internals will work great. Here is one place where you can find them, but they are all over the internet.
